Old Loans Inn

Stayed here all very Christmas with my wife with visiting family in Troon. We had a wonderful stay and can’t flaw a single thing. Breakfast was great, the staff were all so friendly, and the room was lovely. The bed was really big and comfy (firm mattresses). Room service was crazy quick and check in and check out were very quick and easy too.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at old loans inn, and I must say it was a truly fabulous experience! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the dog-friendly atmosphere. Being able to bring my furry friend along made our stay even more enjoyable. The food at the hotel was absolutely delicious. Every meal we had was a delightful culinary experience. The chefs truly know how to create a feast for the taste buds. The delicious cocktails served at the bar were a perfect complement to our dining experience, and we definitely indulged in a few of them throughout our stay. One aspect that stands out about the old loans inn, is the friendly and attentive staff. Laura, the receptionist, was incredibly helpful from the moment we checked in. Her warm welcome and willingness to assist with any questions or requests made us feel right at home. The front-of-house and bar staff were equally amazing, always ready with a smile and offering top-notch service. The rooms were nothing short of impressive. Our room was huge, providing ample space to relax and move around. The highlight, however, was the massive and oh-so-comfortable super king-size bed. It felt like sleeping on a cloud, and getting a good night's rest was a breeze. Overall, my stay was a true delight. The dog-friendly atmosphere, fabulous food, delicious cocktails, friendly staff, and spacious rooms with a super king-size bed combined to create an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay. I can't wait to return in the future!
